[Mary Faith Bell and team preparing to 'press' the issue this week on the campaign trail.]
The next week signals perhaps Mary Faith Bell's busiest week of the election season. Campaign Fundraisers, Candidates Forums, and Coffee with Candidates. That's not to count the fact that ballots started mailing out on the 17th.
Here's this long, lovely list:
1 - Wednesday, October 17th, 2018: Ballots Mailed.
Ballots start going out to all registered Oregon voters. The mailing-out process goes from October 17-21.
2 - Saturday, October 20th, 2018. 5pm-8pm: Primer Rib Campaign Fundraiser Dinner.
Settle in for a delicious prime rib dinner, dessert auction and live music at the beautifully renovated Fairview Grange in downtown Tillamook. $15 for dinner, half price for kids under 10. Bring a dessert for the auction or come prepared to bid on one. Live music by blues / rock guitarist David Wiegan, with special guest Jeff Slamal on harmonica.
3 - Sunday, October 21, 2018. 12:30pm – 2:30pm: Bay City Arts Center Candidates Forum
"Latest in the Arts Center's "Pancakes & Politics" series. Like last time, it'll be upstairs, right after the monthly Pancake Breakfast; ($5 breakfast is served from 8 to noon). The forum will be streamed live, videotaped, and re-broadcast on the Arts Center's radio station, KAYN 92.9 FM."
4 - Sunday, October 21, 2018. 6pm-7:30pm: TillCoDems-AFSCME Candidate Forum
The much anticipated TilCoDems-AFSCME Candidate Forum will address the ballot measures as well as questions from members of the organizations and from the audience. Be sure to show up early to get a great seat.
5 - Wednesday, October 24, 2018. 9:30am-11:30am: Coffee with Candidates at Kendra's River Inn
Hosted by Tillamook County Pioneer, Mary Faith Bell will be having morning coffee and conversation with the candidates for State Representative District 32, fellow candidates for Tillamook County Board of Commissioners, and the PUD Board candidates. Casual conversation, casual atmosphere. C'mon out.
Hope to see you out on the trail!
